Sounds familiar. If it happens with the system fully running, it is known.

[Bug 350980] New: The system stops doing things till I press a key or move the mouse: every things halts.

The known hack is to have another machine (a router, for instance)
continously ping your machine to keep it awake.

Please, _add_ _your_ _report_ to the _bugzilla_. If more people are known
to have the same problem, it will get more attention.

I'll have to check this in factory.
