My content filter (amavis) died, causing a large amount of deferred
messages.

I have since commented out the content_filter = xxxxx line in main.cf,
restarted postfix, and tried to flush the deferred queue with postqueue
-f. Unfortunately the messages continue to try to deliver to the content
filter and return to the deferred queue. New messages are processed fine.

How can I stop postfix from trying to relay these messages through the
content filter?
