After reading and more reading about virtual maps, I decided to remove and
add again the account that got used as the rewritten address.
(info, see previous e-mails) -> this fixed the problem,
probably by removing the virtual alias.

Thanks again for your help guys. Hope this post helps somebody in the future
with the same problem.

OK, if "postmap -q info maknape" produces a result, this means that
info@any-mydestination-domain is virtually aliased. That behavior
is actually documented in the virtual(5) man page. If this is not
what you want then you will need to define

info@domainnname -> other.email.address

mappings with a left-hand side that has both user and domain.
