I have tried to setup this mapping by adding the following line into our main.cf file. recipient_canonical_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/recipient_canonical.map The recipient_canonical.map file has entries like follows in it. @domain.net @domain.com It does rename @domain.net to @domain.com, however it does not do any of the other checks within Postfix. If a invalid email address sent to @domain.net is switched to @domain.com, it instantly forwards the message onto our Barracuda Spam Firewall without doing any of the valid recipients checks. Therefore the Barracuda is bouncing the message as invalid whereas this should have been done on the Postfix box. Is there something else I need to add to the main.cf file to get this to happen?
