I'm setting up dk/dkim for a client and it works ok, except for they
have a webapp that they use to upload their address book to send to
various groups/lists etc....

The webapps set the from: to be the address of the person uploading
the address book and those messages do not get signed if the address
is not the clients domain (feature not a bug?).

I've verified this by sending an email to myself with a made-up
address at some made-up domain, which I received unsigned, and then
sending to myself with a made-up address at their domain, which I
received signed.

Would wildcards help in this instance? (the from header could be
anything from yahoo to whatever)

I'm not sure if the verifier checks WRT email address domain, or the
connecting mail server domain (I couldn't find that in the RFC).
