I know that this is probably totally off-topic, and I do apologize.

There has been some ongoing banter on the FreeBSD forum regarding why
Postfix,or some other MTA were not in the base system as opposed to
Sendmail. One poster posted the following. Obviously, I am only
interested in the Postfix portion of the post.

has an "advertising clause" that is incompatible with the Berkeley/
FreeBSD license that FreeBSD is under - and EXIM is under the GPL
