Hi, i am using postfix 2.3 (debian etch) with virtual users only i can observe following behaviour: if a user (j...) is a member of more than one alias (st..., techni...) an email adressed to both staff@.. and technical@.. is delivered to this user twice. this is logical behavior, however some sort of duplicate suppresion would be desired. i know this is a known issue, i've done research on web, mailing lists, etc. know about solution for postfix < 2.3 my question is: 1. is there any progress in this issue since last posting about this subject (think it was may/2007) 2. would there be an alternative to duplicate suppression, e.g. instead of preforming this on MTA pass this task to - LDA (in my setup i use dovecot) - Sieve ? i did quite an extended research regarding to dovecot LDA / Sieve, without success. in my meaning dovecot could be able to perform this as it keeps index of imap folders (way to check for an existence of a message in inbox) thanks, martin.
