Dear list, postfix >= 2.0 writes the X-Original-To header, but I have reason to believe it does so inconsistently. See the following table, mapping virtual and local delivery with sendmail submission and smtpd reception: logcheck is mapped to root in /etc/aliases on machine this.host foo is mapped to bar with virtual_alias_maps The table cell shows the resulting X-Original-To header after rcpt method: sendmail smtpd ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ logcheck logcheck - logcheck@localhost logcheck@localhost - logcheck logcheck root foo foo foo The logcheck / smtpd column should really be logcheck too, shouldn't it? Thanks for any comments on what I may be doing wrong. -- martin; (greetings from the heart of the sun.) \____ echo mailto: !#^."<*>"|tr "<*> mailto:" net@madduck spamtraps: madduck.bogus if loving linux is wrong, i don't want to be right.
