with my old smail/exim configuration I do had a real-user transport which was able to deliver eMails to mailboxes by ignoring the local .forward file. An example for what this is needed: I want to deliver eMails to either user1 or user2. Whenever an eMail arrives it should deliver to that user, but a copy of it should be also send to the other user. The .forward-files looks like this: user1: .forward: user2, real-user1 user2: .forward: user1, real-user2 The prefix "real-" means the local user, but with ignoring the .forwared-file. That way you will not create a mail-loop. Is it possible to configure the same under postfix? The best would be to have the same notation. I know that it is possible with procmail, but that way it is so easy. Cheers, Carsten
