Hi, I've just installed a new RHEL 5 system with postfix. everything works
great except that nothing appears in /var/log/maillog - not a sausage! the
server is running and processing mail, i can see processes in top and users
have reported no abnormal problems.

I have syslog.conf configured: mail* -/var/log/maillog

what else do i need to check? I changed the log name to mail*
-/var/log/maillog_simon and restarted syslogd - it created the file but
still nothing in there from postfix.

any help is appreciated,

SMJ
