Subject:how to manage destination status cache

hi

i m using two postfix server and one cyrus imap server for my mail
infrastructure.

the postfix are 2.1.5 server and deliver mail to the cyrus server
throught lmtp.

from time to time or for administrative reason the cyrus map server is down.

but when it came back the mal is not delivered as soon as possible to
the cyrus server.
I have to wait for several dozens of minutes.

i have read that postfix maintain a destination status cache and i
thought that it s it which prevent to deliver message as the mail in the
queue is not delivered to the cyrus imap even if i ran postqueue -f to
flush the deferred queue.

then is there a way to manage the destination status cache in order to
have the mail delivered as soon as my lmtp server is back on line.

Thanks in advance for any help
