Hi everyone,

I had an idea earlier today and decided to implement alias maps in a
...creative way. Basically, I made my two mail gateways the final
destination for all mail entering my domain. Then, I created an alias
for each user in a hash file. Using only $aliases, both are forwarding
good mail toward the MUA. Anything without an alias gets rejected.
Things look good. There's much less backscatter mail from spammers and
traffic is almost null on the MUA.

The weird thing is this message:

May 22 00:26:49 iora2 postfix/smtpd[5110]: warning: missing attribute
reas/n in input from private/verify socket

I have never seen anything quite like it before. I searched the manual
and Google, but couldn't really find anything explaining what exactly
this means. I'm assuming it may have something to do with my
reject_unknown_sender_domain parameter or reject_unverified_recipient,
but thought I would check with the list to see if anyone has ever seen it.

Thanks,
Anna
