[when posting from gmail, please click the "plain text" button]

Never send mail outside your domain using an unregistered sender domain.

Here is the documentation for turning on authentication for outgoing mail.
http://www.postfix.org/SASL_README.html#client_sasl
You'll also need to set relayhost=[isp.mail.server] (including the brackets).
http://www.postfix.org/postconf.5.html#relayhost

I also strongly suggest purchasing "The Book of Postfix" by Ralf
Hildebrandt and Patrick Koetter from your favorite bookstore.
