My profile folder is regularly backed up to an external HDD. I don't use NIS, I have only the Norton Utilities. I use Avast for AV. I don't think the problem is with my firewall, as that always pops up a nice blue Windows Security Center dialog. Firefox's process in the task manager currently climbs to around 10,000k and quits. Ordinarily I observe the process reach at least 50,000k before the browser window appears or a firewall dialog pops up. Normal use seems to means the process runs at 90,000k+ on my system, with all everyday-use extensions active. _______________________________________________ support-firefox mailing list support-firefox https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-firefox To unsubscribe, send an email to support-firefox-request?subject=unsubscribe
