Subject:Can I remove only toolbar settings from user profile?

Have apparently got a corrupted toolbar in my FF 2.0.0.11 install
(some google toolbar buttons show up blank [but function fine]; others
insist on using a generic magnifying glass icon). Reinstalling
individual buttons, upgrading the google toolbar, and reinstalling FF
(after first exporting my entire profile to a remote folder and then
reinstating it) haven't cleared the problem.

I don't want to lose the many passwords and other customizations
stored in my profile by rebuilding it from scratch. Is there a way to
remove from my FF profile just the toolbar settings only while
retaining all other custom settings stored in it?
