Try disabling adblock plus when you encounter your problems and see if
that helps. If it doesn't help, adblock is probably unrelated to your
problems.

If problems occur on a certain website, you can white-list those sites
to adblock plus to that adblock blocks adds on everywhere else, except
on those sites. Use the toolbar button option "dissable on [web sites
url]" to white list sites.
