Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11)
Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 under Windows Vista Business.

I have the Flash plug-in installed, along with FlashBlock. It works by
blocking flash content and replacing with the an 'icon' which I can
click to allow flash content to play.

But, I have a problem with sites which use Flash for their main
content. Take for example, http://www.sony.com.

Without the Flash plug-in installed, I see a typical main page, with
graphics and links.

With the Flash plug-in installed, I see FlashBlock block the flash
content, and I have to click on the FlashBlock icon to enable the
animation.

It appears that this site detects if the Flash plug-in is installed,
and opts to use Flash content if it is installed.

I am trying to determine if there is some way to temporarily disable
the Flash plug-in. I know I can uninstall it, or rename the
directory/files which comprise the Flash plug-in, but am hoping there
is something available that will allow me to do this 'on the fly'.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
