Something has messed up how Firefox (and for that matter IE as well)
handles streaming audio files. I suspect that it was a Quicktime
install, but it also could have been a Windows Media Player update.

The web site (http://www.airamerica.com/listen) claims that it is
serving a real player stream, because that's how the "preferences" for
the web site are set.

On a box that works, if I go to Tools > Options > Content > Manage File
Types, Real Player is registered to handle RAM and SMI (SMIL) type
files. On the box that does not work, those file types are not listed.
How can I add file types?

Or is this not the problem? On the web page in question, the box that
does not work shows what looks like a Windows Media Player rather than a
Real Player. The box that does work shows a Real Player.

For whatever reason, even though the web site (offers to serve either
Real or WMP, I've never been able to get it to work with WMP.
