In the URL bar, type about:config; then in the filter box, type browser.history_expire_days, and be sure the number there is the same as you chose in Tools/xx/ Check the profile for history.dat and signons2.txt: If they are there when you exit FF, but not the next day, then you've got a computer cleanup program running that is doing too good of a job. If history.dat persists, it might be corrupted; you can delete it, start over, see what happens.
