I am running firefox 2.0.0.8 on vista. I just installed the file
jre-6u3-windows-i586-p-s.exe which is the manual download file for the
latest version of java, because firefox said the java plugin was missing.
Installation completed successfully, but java applets simply dont run in
firefox. If a open a site containing a java applet, nothing happens. Extras
/ settings / activate java is set to on already.
It does work on microsoft explorer.

Anyone having a clue?
