Cookies are blocked, by default. There are exceptions, but they are not the
sites that I opened and closed.
However since my post I have uninstalled CB and installed CBlite in its
place. The leftover 3rd party cookies no longer appear.
It looks, then, that there is nothing to choose between Cookie-Button and
CBlite.
