Firefox keeps crashing.

This happened with the old version of firefox, I downloaded the new version
and it's just the same. While a page is downloading if I do anything on the
page (scrolling or clicking) Firefox shuts down immediately. If I wait until
the whole page is loaded and the status bar disappears, everythings fine. I
can "restore session" but it shouldn't happen in the first place. any clues?
