Subject:How do I keep 'Free email addres from AOL' tab from opening on startup

This is a vexing problem. I have Firefox 2.0.0.4 running on a iMAC G5
with OS 10.4.9. When I start Firefox my home page tab opens but there
is also a tab titled "Free email address from AOL Mail" showing. If I
select this tab it is a user name and password query for AOL sign in.
I did have AOL's browser on this MAC but deleted it. I can not figure
out how to get this tab not to show up on startup of Firefox. I have
addblock plus, but can't seem to figure out how to get it to block
this tab. Any suggestions...I really hate AOL anyway...it was
installed for my room mate who then decided she does not like the MAC,
so thus I deleted the AOL browser.
