Hi,

I've been using Firefox regularly for many years and I like many
features in the browser. What I don't like though, is the fact, it is
MEMORY INTENSIVE.

When I open Firefox with just an empty page, the MEMORY used is 22MB.
However, if I keep 5 to 6 tabs for the entire day, I see the MEMORY
used goes upto as high 150-160MB. Even though I close some of the OPEN
tabs, the memory usage doesn't go down. However, if I open the same
tabs again, the MEMORY usage goes up to 170-180MB - this makes the
browser extremely slow to use and sometimes its irritating as well.

I think the memory management code needs some work and needs to be
improved. Pls look into this and implement necessary fixes.
