Red Tiger is Java based, so it will run on any Java VM (i.e., Windows, MacOS, Linux, Unix, etc.)

There are some JNI-based additions for Linux which give it more capabilities, but Red Tiger itself runs cross platform.

You could run Asterisk on Linux, but have Red Tiger and all of your applications running on Windows, MacOS, Linux, etc. Only the base libraries must be on the Asterisk machine... the rest can run anywhere.
