Gstreamer 0.8 *is installed*, maybe is this the source of confusion?

Unmerge gstreamer specifying the version (version 0.10 will be left
there):

emerge -Ca media-libs/gstreamer-0.8.11

Clean revdep-rebuild temp files:
rm /root/.revdep-rebuild*

re-run revdep-rebuild
