What is you error? Does the booting just stop at a certain point? Since I found that if I got an error message, the booting will pause until you go back to that terminal. But I have no clue to solve that problem.

If you just want to get rid of bufferframe at tty 8,9. I think you need set the value as
SPLASH_TTYS="1 2 3 4 5 6"
