Trying to install (emerge)
app-emulation/virtualbox-modules
under the new 2.6.23 kernel dies with a sandbox violation
open_wr: /usr/src/linux-2.6.23-gentoo/null.gcda

using
FEATURES='-sandbox' emerge app-emulation/virtualbox-modules

helps.
