Hi, between r125680 and r125703 bootstrap is broken on trunk for at least i686-pc-liunx-gnu. checking whether gcc supports -pedantic -Wno-long-long -Wno-variadic-macros -Wno-overlength-strings... no configure: error: unknown check category release,yes make[2]: *** [configure-stage1-gcc] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/xtv/gcc-devel/out' make[1]: *** [stage1-bubble] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/xtv/gcc-devel/out' make: *** [bootstrap] Error 2 According to ChangeLog the configure-Scripts have been regenerated, maybe this is the reason for the failure.. 2007-06-14 Paolo Bonzini <bonzini> * acinclude.m4 (gcc_AC_CHECK_PROG_VER): Remove. * aclocal.m4: Regenerate. * configure.ac: Use ACX_PROG_CC_WARNING_OPTS, ACX_PROG_CC_WARNINGS_ARE_ERRORS, ACX_PROG_CC_WARNING_ALMOST_PEDANTIC, ACX_CHECK_PROG_VER. * configure: Regenerate.
